These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Mountain Ridge Pediatrics website at mountainridgepediatrics.com (the "Site"), operated by Mountain Ridge Pediatrics ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Not medical advice

The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and reading information here does not create a physician-patient relationship with Mountain Ridge Pediatrics.

Always seek the advice of your child's physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Site.

If you think your child has a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For after-hours urgent concerns about an established patient, call our after-hours line at (540) 249-1110.

Appropriate use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Site. Prohibited behavior includes attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, interfering with security features, scraping or harvesting content for unauthorized commercial use, and impersonating any person.

The content on this Site — including text, photos, logos, illustrations, design, and code — is owned by Mountain Ridge Pediatrics or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, publish, license, or create derivative works from any of the content without our prior written permission.

Third-party links and services

The Site contains links to websites operated by other organizations (including the Develo Family Portal, social media platforms, AAP, CDC, HealthyChildren.org, and others). Those websites have their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. See our Privacy Policy for what we disclose about third-party loads on the Site itself.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockingham County, Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last reviewed" date at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be highlighted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
